I used spell with Flickr, see bottom of my blog. Spell with flickr was easy to use an went very fast!

Thing 4 again

...............................WooHoo! Flickr was fun. The posting was, was.......ahhhhhhhhhh! But I think I got it all in there. That JPG thing was finally found, the pictures are now next to each other, and I'm not touching it again. The text moved things around, and I lost my picture more than once. I don't know where it went, it would just disappear. POOF! The preview doesn't show how the post will look on the blog. That's a bummer. I went back to flickr and copied some pics to my computer, but they don't have that jpg thing. Will try today to copy a different way.
Like my border? I used the webdings font. Tried it in black, but it made my eyes cross, so I used a color with less contrast.

Thing 4 Flickr -Scraparadise

Under the tag quilts this is the one I liked. Can't find that jpg thing at the end tho. The quilt is Scraparadise by qusic. This information gets lost when I post. Rt click and open link gets you to Flickr and the quilt photo. Maybe I shouldn't put two images on one post. Can't make them get closer on the final post.

Thing 3 Keeping Up

At this time, I'm not promoting anything. I don't need accessibility to my blog. Nor do I need a place to "visit" a bunch of other blogs. Maybe in the future I will find a place for thing 3. I can see where this could be helpful if you needed updates from other blogs in a timely fashion. I guess I'm not a Blogger yet.

Thing 2 Perspectives

Well, I'm experimenting, learning and creating. It can be a little scary. My parents never lived with a home computer. My grandchildren never lived without one. The library has a new customized computer as its card catalog. Gone are the small drawer wooded cabinets, with there brass pulls. Bookshelves that lined the outside walls, giving that cozy layer of protection from the outside. We still use the old file cards. We make notes of important information we need from the computer on there backs.
Maybe I'm feeling like an old file card, but using the flip side now.

Thing 1 Register

OK OK OK. Got it! That avatar is in. YeeeHaaaa! Kept losing the how to page. I didn't want to write down all the steps. Finally it hit me to copy and save the steps to word pad (dah). WOW three days, and I'm not even registered yet. This is wonderful, to finally be learning something about how this computer can help me. Yes, I'm self centered about this project. I know nothing about what computers can do, other than putting things in a list. Now I can copy a HTML, copy and alter a picture, and put them with my lists. Now I'm going to go and read about HTMLs and Javas. Lord knows what they are! But they do make my lists look pretty. Maybe I should grab a grammar book too.

Header

It only took two days to get that quilt to fit into the header! I used Microsoft Picture It. I got a photo from My Pictures, and resized it to 2x6 in. Than on the main screen clicked on the picture and pulled out the sides to fit the 2x6 field. Added text,which I had to pull all four sides so it would look some what centered. LOL I was trying to get an avatar, I still don't know where that thing goes! So after two days I'm still at thing one.
